As the record keepers of the court, it is our mission to protect the integrity and accuracy of the courts records of Clark County Juvenile Court while serving the public and legal community in a professional and courteous manner. The Clerk’s office is committed to providing assistance in a timely fashion, ensuring equal access to court services, treating users of the court system fairly with respect and dignity and enhancing public trust and confidence in the court system.
The Clerk’s Office often serves as the initial point of contact for people seeking information about the court and its proceedings. We assist the public by responding to inquiries; providing access to forms; answering general information questions about the operations and procedures of the court; and serve as the official keepers of the case records of the court
We have a wide range of administrative duties including filing documents; managing the court docket; receiving payments of fines, costs and restitution; supervising the processing of forfeitures; disbursing funds; and processing required reports and information that reflect case management.
Our deputy clerks are not able to provide legal advice but endeavor to provide helpful information about court process and work diligently to ensure that all pleadings are promptly and properly filed and that all documents and information are readily available to court staff and the public as needed.
